ROUVY Brings the Full IRONMAN Nice World Championship Course to Riders Worldwide
September 2025, Prague: ROUVY, the indoor cycling app which lets users ride real routes around the world from their home, has launched the full IRONMAN World Championship course in Nice to the ROUVY app. Both participating triathletes and everyday cycling enthusiasts can experience the challenging, scenic 180km route - plus experience Sam Long’s exclusive climbing workout.
Earlier this year ROUVY officially entered a long-term partnership with IRONMAN, offering athletes a unique opportunity to train on the exact roads they’ll race. The one loop, 180km course features 2500m of elevation gain with a maximum gradient of 20%. Regarded as one of the most beautiful, yet demanding routes on the IRONMAN circuit, the picturesque course takes you through the charming villages on the Parc Naturel des Pré-Alpes d’Azur before returning to the city of Nice on the French Riviera.
With the support of ROUVY’s cutting-edge technology and on-site team, the IRONMAN World Championship Course was captured during this year’s IRONMAN France. The virtual route reflects the real event in detail, including official timing mat placements, aid stations, and penalty zones. Offering athletes an in-depth preview of race day. For those who want to experience the course without tackling the full distance, a shorter option is also available. This version features the complete ascent of the iconic Col de Vence, starting right from the Promenade des Anglais.
The latest feature now available on the ROUVY app is the exclusive Sam Long “Climbing” Threshold Session, designed by the U.S professional triathlete himself. The one hour workout will target threshold intervals to help prepare the body and mind, perfect for tackling the elevation and demands of the Nice course.
