Pelotan Launches in the US, Bringing the World's Best Sports Sunscreen to Endurance Athletes
3rd September 2025, Girona, Spain - Following success across Europe, the UK, and the Middle East, Pelotan, the sport-specific sunscreen brand trusted by elite athletes, has officially launched in the United States via usa.pelotan.cc and has dropped in The Feed this month alongside a range of independent specialist retailers.
Founded in 2018 by athletes for athletes, Pelotan was created to meet the specific demands of endurance sport. Its breathable, and sweat resistant formula offers broad spectrum 30SPF protection and helps athletes regulate body temperature and maintain peak performance in the toughest conditions. The range includes a quick drying Spray and a unique, easy application Roll On. Complemented by Pelotan Après, which soothes tired skin and muscles, and helps kickstart recovery by reducing core body temperature.
Now FDA approved and produced in the US, Pelotan is bringing its proven performance protection to athletes across the country.
The expansion into the US comes off the back of strong growth for the brand - nearing 100% year-on-year, and successfully closing a £250,000 investment round. Backers include Olympic and World Champion triathletes Gustav Iden and Kristian Blummenfelt alongside European record holding distance runner Eilish McColgan. Among the early investors are senior figures and investors from leading wellness and performance brands including TALA, WILD, Momentous and AG1.

This summer, Pelotan signed a multi-year deal with the Tour de France as an official product partner - the first sunscreen product to enter such a partnership. A collection of co-branded protection products celebrates the iconic jerseys of the world's most famous bike race, from the Yellow Jersey Spray to the Green Jersey Aftersun. These will be available to buy, bringing the Tour to the US.
