Ultra Distances Sell Out for the Altra 13 Valleys Ultra Trail Event

For immediate release

Keswick, 19th August - The highly anticipated Altra 13 Valleys Ultra, a flagship trail running event set in the stunning landscapes of the Lake District National Park, has officially sold out across all ultra race distances. In doing so, it cements itself as one of the fastest-growing trail running events in the UK.

Runners from across the UK and beyond have secured their places for this one-of-a-kind endurance challenge, which offers distances of 22km, 55km, 110km, and 180km. The event, renowned for its breathtaking routes and world-class organisation, promises an unforgettable weekend of trail running, adventure, and community spirit.

“We’re thrilled to confirm that all ultra distances for the Altra 13 Valleys Ultra is now sold out,” said Alice Peyredieu, Head of Marketing (Adventure) at Great Run Company. “The response has been phenomenal, and it’s clear that the trail running community is as excited as we are to celebrate this incredible event in the heart of the Lake District.”

The Altra 13 Valleys Ultra, delivered in partnership with the Lake District National Park, is designed to showcase the beauty and challenge of one of the UK’s most iconic natural landscapes. With distances catering to both seasoned ultra-runners and those taking on their first trail race, the event embodies inclusivity, endurance, and a shared love for the outdoors.

Though entries are now closed, supporters, spectators, and the local community are warmly invited to join the event atmosphere, with a range of activities, food, and entertainment available at the event village.

There are a limited number of places available for the 2 Valleys distance (22km).

For those who missed out on a place, entries will open for Altra 13 Valleys Ultra 2026 (ultra distances only) next week, on 28th August. Spots will be on sale at a super early bird rate until the event weekend, and payment plans are available, so runners can lock in to the event now, without shouldering the full cost of entry right away.
