The Best of Adventure and Ultra Cycling Comes to London this January - Introducing the Gravel & Adventure Bike Expo
December 2025, London: The Adventure Travel Show, the UK's leading event for off-beaten-track travel since the 1990s, is set to debut a new feature in 2026 with the launch of the Gravel & Adventure Bike Expo this January showcasing industry leading brands, new bikes, travel inspiration, riders and adventure storytelling all in one place.
The new event, part of a wider weekend of all things travel and exploration taking place at Islington’s Business Design Centre on 10-11th January, brings together the best of adventure and ultra cycling, from brands to fireside chats with accomplished riders and stage talks with guest speakers.
Dedicated to exploring the world on two wheels and the freedom that a bike gives you, the Gravel & Adventure Bike Expo bolsters the weekend’s roster of inspiring speakers with leading names including the UK's most accomplished long distance cyclist, Mark Beaumont. Also sharing insights from their travels and racing is former Transcontinental winner Josh Ibbett, recent World Record setter Molly Weaver, accomplished ultra racer Angus Young, as well as long distance adventurers Angèle Paty, Markus Stitz and Duncan Covey.
Visitors will also be able to check out the latest bikes and kit from a broad collection of brands including Surly, Schwalbe, Teravail, Old Man Mountain, Fidlock, Kinesis, Seasucker, Farr, Vielo, Guava, Brooks, Mason Cycles and Reilly. Whilst those looking for cycle travel inspiration can plan their next riding trip with specialists Italy Bike Hotels, Red Dirt Uganda, TransAtlanticWay, GravelUp and BicycleWanders.
Event Director Chris Holman commented on the new addition to the weekend: “We’re really excited to bring the Gravel & Adventure Bike element of the show to life in January. It’s set to be a unique event with plenty of great content to offer passionate adventure cyclists. We had a number of bike brands, cycle travel companies and riders as part of the wider show last year and the marked interest from visitors showed that it deserved its own category within the weekend. From products to travel planning, insights and inspiration from leading international adventure cyclists - there’s a lot to enjoy.”
The Gravel & Adventure Bike Expo sits within the wider Adventure Travel Show, which for 2026 will be headlined by adventurer and TV personality Simon Reeve, alongside a back-to-back agenda of explorers and speakers from around the world.
Visitors will also be able to engage with over 100 exhibitors under one roof making it the perfect place to research upcoming trips or discover a completely new destination to visit. Covering everything from UK-based adventures, through to exploring jungles, mountains, rivers and deserts across every continent.
Tickets cover both the Adventure Travel Show and Gravel & Adventure Bike Expo, at £11 for an adult, £4 for a child between 5-15 years, and free for carers and children under 5. Doors open from 9:30-17:30 on Saturday and 9:30-16:00 on Sunday. Book your tickets here.
