Ride with Wout van Aert and Other Pros on ROUVY this Indoor Season

  • Wout van Aert kicks off a series of Group Rides on the app this indoor season, on 30th October
  • Join van Aert on the iconic slopes of Pico del Teide, Tenerife
  • The first Group Ride with van Aert earlier this year saw over 6,500 riders register from around the world

08:00 BST / 09:00 CET, 22nd October 2025, Prague - ROUVY, the indoor cycling app which lets users ride real routes around the world from their home, is bringing you another chance to ride with Wout van Aert and thousands of others this month. ROUVY’s latest virtual Group Ride and live Q&A takes place on Thursday 30th October at 17h GMT / 18h CET and kicks off a series of rides on the ROUVY app with pros from both Visma | Lease-a-Bike and Lidl-Trek teams this winter season.

The first virtual Group Ride van Aert led on ROUVY was hugely popular, seeing over 6,500 riders register. This is expected to be no different as the days shorten, the temperature drops, and the indoor season kicks into gear. The ride will be held on the iconic training roads of Tenerife’s Pico del Teide - 23.1km with 376m elevation gain, providing some sunny escapism from the changing seasons; a route frequented by Team Visma | Lease-a-Bike and thousands of other riders every year, given the island’s popularity as a training camp destination.

Opportunities to ride with cycling’s elite are few and far between, but ROUVY is making this a near-reality with these live-streamed social rides where you’ll get to virtually rub shoulders with some of the world’s best riders.

Antonín Parma, ROUVY Product Experience Director, commented on the event: “We’re always looking for ways to add engagement to our users’ indoor cycling experience, and connecting with the professional riders and teams which we work closely with is a great way to bring together riders of all levels in one virtual event. It’s also a perfect way for us to spotlight some of the stunning and exciting ride routes we have from all around the world coming this autumn - from popular training camp destinations such as Tenerife, Denia and Calpe, to much more far-flung corners of the world, including recent additions like Bolivia, Sri Lanka and Tajikistan.”

Following the Wout van Aert community ride, ROUVY will be hosting a number of other events with its pro rider community, including both individuals and groups from both Team Visma | Lease-a-Bike and Lidl-Trek. Each ride allows participants to connect with the elites from the comfort of their homes. Known for its realistic augmented reality technology, ROUVY brings the outdoor riding experience indoors, making it the perfect setting for these events.
