Panaracer Dirty Reiver Sells Out in Less Than 12-Hours

Cumbria, December 2024: Reinforcing its position as the leading gravel event in the UK calendar, the Panaracer Dirty Reiver, delivered by Focal Events, sold out in just a matter of hours this weekend.

The 9th edition of the event takes place over the weekend 25-27th April and will welcome gravel riders from the UK and further afield. The event continues to attract an international audience to the stunning gravel tracks and access roads of the Northern English Borders.

The 2025 edition once again offers three distances, 65km, 130km or the long 200km which has become somewhat of a rite of passage in UK gravel riding.

“It’s testament to the respect and excitement that the gravel community has for Dirty Reiver that it has once again sold out so quickly, but it’s great to see the interest continuing to grow year-on-year,” commented Event Co-Director Bryan Singleton. “We’ve had a good split of new and returning riders register for next April which is great to see, whilst hopefully those that missed out can make the most of the other events in our growing portfolio, each offering an equally first class event experience.”

For those who missed out on next April’s Dirty Reiver, Focal Events offers a complete portfolio of other gravel rides and races. The recently launched Dalby Grit is a 110km gravel race located in the North York Moors; Gravel Rocks brings a weekend of gravel riding and racing to the picturesque and exclusive Duncombe Park, including an iconic night ride; whilst the SCOTT Frontier300 takes in a 300km coast-to-coast epic from the Irish to the North Sea.
