Panaracer Dirty Reiver Returns Next Spring for 10th Anniversary Edition - Entries Open on Monday
- Three new routes for 2026
- Entries open 8am BST 1st September; spaces expected to sell out within hours
- Brand activations levelling up for anniversary year
28th August 2025, Cumbria: Next Monday, 1st September, 8am BST marks the launch of the most highly anticipated edition of the Panaracer Dirty Reiver to date. Returning to the unrivalled gravel riding paradise that is Kielder Forest in April, the 10th anniversary of the UK’s leading gravel event, delivered by the long-standing expert team at Focal Events, is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
The anniversary edition of the Dirty Reiver will be held over the weekend of 24-26th April 2026, with places available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Entries open at 8am on Monday morning over on the Dirty Reiver website, but it’s a case of blink and you’ll miss it, with the past few editions selling out within a number of hours. So mark your calendars and set a reminder for Monday to make sure you don’t miss out.
Co-Event Director, Bryan Singleton commented ahead of entries launching: “Together with our event partners, we’re planning a special edition of the Dirty Reiver next spring with a unique theme to the event, new routes, more activations and generally a load more hype.
“The event has grown into the hottest ticket in the UK gravel riding scene and we’ve had a huge uptake in people pre-registering interest so we’re expecting places to go fast, perhaps faster than ever before.”
For 2026, there will be three new routes across the Dirty Reiver’s now standard distances - 200km, 135km and 65km. Entries are £70 for the shortest distance and £85 for the two longer distances.
Supporting the riding will be another impressive roster of event partners, with Panaracer headlining the event once again, with presented brands SRAM, Lauf, Camelbak and Wahoo. Plans are already afoot for a number of exciting on-route brand activations to add to the atmosphere, whilst the buzz in the event village will go up a notch. The scale of interest and increased planning efforts have led to the Focal Events team opening entries a few months earlier than previous years.
The success of the event sits alongside the growth of Focal Events’ wider portfolio of gravel rides and races. These include the elite gravel race Dalby Grit which saw a hugely successful inaugural edition this summer; the crankbrothers Gravel Rocks weekend (10th - 12 July 2026) adventure of all things gravel; the SCOTT Frontier 300 (29th - 30th May 2026), an ultra-endurance epic taking you from one side of the country to the other; and JUST.GRAVEL, a family day out on the trails in the Lakes.
Entry for both Gravel Rocks and SCOTT Frontier 300 opens on the 15th September.
More details on the event can be found at https://dirtyreiver.co.uk/. Entries will open on the website homepage from 8am BST on 1st September.
