MAAP debuts at Paris Fashion Week, elevating WorldTour cycling technology ahead of the Tour de France

26th June 2026, Melbourne, Australia - HYPERFORMANCE, an exploration of the garments and innovations developed for the highest levels of competition in cycling, brought WorldTour performance to Paris Fashion Week this year.

In collaboration with Mental Athletic, Melbourne-based premium cycling apparel brand MAAP made its debut in Paris one week before the world’s biggest cycling race begins its procession towards the city.

Transcending cycling through both design and performance, MAAP’s Paris Fashion Week installation reflects its pursuit of progression, breaking the mould, through aesthetics and culture. Positioning apparel technology from the highest echelons of the sport of cycling within the cultural fashion context, alongside major fashion houses and emerging designers from across the world.

The HYPERFORMANCE installation is an experience for the senses, led by an ever-present vivid electric green hue that is carried through the new GreenEDGE Cycling Tour de France kit that forms the centrepiece of the space - to be worn by Team Jayco-AlUla and Liv AlUla Jayco throughout the 2026 Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.

“With HYPERFORMANCE, we’re bringing together two worlds that sit just a week apart but never cross over: the high-design of Paris Fashion Week and the elite performance of the Tour de France.” Says Misha Glisovic, CCO at MAAP. “We wanted to explore how, at their core, both cultures share the exact same obsessions, a relentless dedication to detail, whether expressed in the cut of a silhouette or the technical innovations that unlock peak performance.”

MAAP kicked off its Paris Fashion Week stay with an opening celebration at its unique space in the 2nd Arrondissement, marking the official launch of its new Tour de France swap-out kit.
