27th March, Melbourne - Melbourne-based cycling apparel brand MAAP has today announced the launch of its Aeon collection. An entirely new range of apparel engineered specifically for the demands of long, intense hours on the road.

The Aeon collection combines advanced construction techniques and high tech materials to create the ultimate in comfort. Its understated, minimalist aesthetic and ghost-like feel and fit leaves riders to focus on the road ahead, no matter how far it may stretch into the distance.

Aeon Jersey

Designed to get out of your way and let you ride, the Aeon Jersey redefines comfort when going the distance. It delivers MAAP's signature sleek, form-fitting silhouette paired with less compressive fabrics and advanced cooling tech for all-day comfort, without sacrificing style or performance.

Polartec® Delta™ fabric and its advanced evaporative cooling technology keep you fresh when the heat or pace rises. Its 3D knit structure lifts fabric away from the skin, boosting airflow and working with your body’s natural cooling process. By blending hydrophobic and hydrophilic yarns, moisture is dispersed efficiently across the surface for maximum cooling, mile after mile.

Development hasn't stopped with the fabric choice, each aspect of the jersey has been refined for pure, uninterrupted comfort. A seamless, wide front hem ensures a locked-in fit that stays put without feeling restrictive, while the ultra soft, low profile, semi-bonded collar, more akin to those typically found in high performance race suits, eliminates irritation on long, hot rides.

The Aeon Jersey is available in Short and Long Sleeve versions in Asphalt, Chalk and Prism colourways.

Aeon Bib

As riders push harder and go further, gear that can keep up isn’t optional, it’s essential. All-day comfort has always been at the core of MAAP’s performance bibs, but taking it to the next level meant leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of progression.

This started with the essential element of any bib, the chamois. For the Aeon Bib, MAAP has taken its latest proprietary high density 3D Thermo Moulded chamois debuted in the ​ Alt_Road range and brought it to the road for the first time.

Retaining the same precision layout and thickness as MAAP’s other chamois', it incorporates higher-density foam for superior shock absorption and long-lasting support. Its use here ensures the Aeon Bib can withstand epic days on the bike stretching from sunrise to sunset and beyond, with no degradation in chamois comfort.

When the hours stack up, fabric feel and durability become essential. Aeon is crafted from textured yarns sourced from Spain offering a 4-way compression stretch benefit for an ultra-soft, buttery-smooth touch that has to be felt to be believed. This luxurious, abrasion-resistant fabric doesn’t just perform on day one, it stays box fresh and super smooth, ride after ride. Paired with the minimalistic leg panel engineering, range of motion is perfectly optimised for greater efficiency across every pedal stroke.

Every detail of the Aeon Bib is dialled for comfort and longevity, from the single flatlock seam on each leg that eliminates irritation to the seamless integrated leg gripper, where silicone yarns are woven directly into the fabric for a secure fit without excess pressure. Rear cargo pockets complete the package, ensuring there's plenty of storage for epic days in the saddle.
