Get Ready For The New Season With ROUVY, Visma | Lease-a-Bike and Lidl-Trek at Europe’s Iconic Pro Camp Destinations
18th December 2025, Prague: ROUVY, the indoor cycling app which lets users ride real routes around the world from their home, has unveiled its latest winter virtual training camp to kickstart your 2026 training plans and to keep you motivated throughout the winter. The camp combines Visma | Lease-a-Bike and Lidl-Trek team training plans and specific workouts, with iconic European training camp destinations, including Calpe, Tenerife and Girona.
This three-month indoor cycling experience connects riders with tailored training rides, from intense 4-week plans to longer base-building 12-week programmes, crafted by riders and coaches from two of the pro peloton’s top teams. Running from December through February, the winter series gives cyclists of all levels the chance to build their fitness whilst riding the same routes as the pros, with opportunities to join virtual group rides with Visma | Lease a Bike.
Train Like a Professional On Real Routes
Base Builder - Team Visma | Lease-a-Bike (12 Weeks)
A structured endurance program designed around modern training principles used by the world’s top team. The plan includes 39 detailed workouts to build the aerobic base essential for spring performance.
Increase Your FTP with Lidl-Trek (4 Weeks)
A shorter progressive plan focused on threshold and speed development, created for advanced riders aiming to increase their functional threshold power.
Both plans integrate seamlessly with spotlight routes from Calpe, Tenerife and Girona, offering a complete winter conditioning system.
Legendary European Routes
Central to this winter virtual training camp are stunning European routes frequented by the pros every winter who head south in search of warmer climates. December sees a focus on Calpe before attention turns to Tenerife in January, then heading to Catalonia in February to ride around Girona, one of, if not the most popular, European bases for many professional cyclists.
A winter training capital for several years now, Calpe and the Costa Blanca deliver six brand-new routes, including the iconic Coll de Rates and Vall d'Ebo climbs.
This January, ROUVY will introduce eight new routes from Tenerife, bringing riders to the volcanic roads of Pico del Teide, a renowned altitude-training destination. The month features special Lidl-Trek livestream rides, plus the launch of the new virtual Trek bike and team jersey.
The training camp finishes in the beating heart of European cycling, Girona, with four new routes around the Girona and Costa Brava region. Riders can sharpen their form on the same rolling terrain and technical descents used by pros during early-season preparation.
