9th April, Melbourne, Australia - Leading premium cycling and lifestyle apparel brand MAAP has today announced its new, expanded Pro Aero collection. A full range Jerseys, Speedsuits and and accessories developed and validated in the WorldTour by Jayco AlUla and Liv AlUla Jayco (GreenEDGE Cycling).
At the heart of the collection is MAAP's hyperlight AARTERO Flyte™ fabric. Introduced during MAAP's first WorldTour season and ridden to multiple Grand Tour stage victories, the 20 micron thick fabric balances thermoregulation with advanced aerodynamic efficiency.
3D-ribbed sleeve channels smooth out turbulent airflow and delay the airflow separation that slows riders down, while the ultra-breathable knitted fabric regulates body temperature under the huge efforts of modern race paces.
For riders seeking ultimate aerodynamic gains, the new Beta Pro Aero Speedsuit brings AARTERO Flyte™ technology to a commercially available speedsuit for the first time. MAAP's fastest ever speedsuit combines the Pro Aero Jersey upper body with the proven comfort and performance of MAAP's top level bib, the Pro Bib 2.0. The result is a package with a second-skin like feel that is lightweight, flexible and engineered to optimise airflow for maximal speed and energy efficiency. Available in Stella, Astra and Iolite colourways.
Also new to the collection is the Beta Pro Aero LS Jersey,the first long sleeve jersey in the Pro Aero collection. The short sleeve Beta Pro Aero Jersey remains for riders seeking lightweight performance at just 100g.
All of the jerseys and speedsuits in the Pro Aero range feature the same micro-perforated stretch woven fabrics, low-profile collars, bonded hems and new, race inspired colourways.
The Pro Aero range also introduces a number of accessories designed for riders pursuing marginal gains. As worn by the GreenEDGE cycling teams for the 2026 season these socks, shoe covers and mitts are built to enhance aerodynamic performance and take your race day outfit to the next level.
- The Pro Aero Sock: A hybrid stretch-woven and knitted sock designed to optimise airflow over the rider’s legs. The ribbed leg cuff is texturised with channels and a cross-hatch pattern to improve aerodynamics, matched with a knitted footbed that uses a breathable nylon yarn. The clean, raw-cut top edge features dual leg grippers for a non-slip fit.
- Pro Aero Overshoe: Ensures riders stay protected from the elements without sacrificing aerodynamic gains. A smooth-stretch top foot is matched with an aero-textured woven leg. An internal TPU patch avoids wear from shoe abrasion, and a Kevlar toe panel helps prevent nicks and tears. A durable Velcro fastener behind the cleat enables quick and easy application and removal.
- Pro Race Aero Mitt: Offers protection and aerodynamic benefits for racing. The back of the hand features an Italian stretch-woven fabric with texturised channels and cross-hatch patterns to optimise airflow. The palm features a lightweight AX suede palm with non-slip silicone palm printing to ensure grip isn't compromised. A silicone cuff gripper ensures the mitts stay in position when racing, while Grosgain pullers enable easy removal.
