Cinelli’s New HoBootleg Geo: Rowdy and Ready to Roam
Milan, Italy - 4th December 2025: Cinelli’s near un-killable HoBootleg bike gets a tune up for even more extreme exploration, with today’s release of the 2026 HoBootleg Geo.
Retaining the DNA of the original Cinelli HoBootleg model - a self-sufficient world-traveller, the HoBootleg Geo has been tweaked to excel at single-track and technical mountain riding, thriving beyond where the trail ends and the GPS drops out.
Aimed at modern expedition riders, off-road tourers and explorers, HoBootleg Geo’s comfortable, gusset-reinforced steel frame features geometry derived from classic rigid mountainbikes, and with shorter stems, wide drop bars and zero-offset seatposts in mind. Designed to carry everything you could possibly need to explore the farther reaches of the world, Cinelli’s technical team has ensured that the new HoBootleg Geo geometry features significant space for bulky luggage. Specced with a blended mix of Shimano’s Cues 1x11 groupset with hydraulic disc brakes, BSA threaded bottom bracket, external cable routing, wheels comprising WTB ST rims laced to reliable, maintainable Shimano hubs, and durable, versatile WTB Ranger tyres - all components have been selected for their robust, repair or replace qualities to keep you rolling.
HoBootleg Geo comes with a dynamo-ready full carbon Columbus Futura Adventure fork with a multi-rake system for either a more responsive or easier to handle ride depending on the route ahead, with the option of either 45mm or 50 mm rake. For those looking to take things a step further, the frame is front suspension ready. Adding to this versatility is the semi-integrated dropper cable routing, UDH compatible rear dropouts, and tyre clearance of up to 29" x 3".
Bikepacking-ready, the HoBootleg Geo is equipped with all the fixing points any adventurer could need. With a 6-eyelet fork, rear pannier rack mounts, 5 downtube mounts (3 above, 2 below), 2 seatpost mounts, and fender mounts, whether going fully-laden or traveling light, there are options for every setup.
Finishing kit consists of Cinelli’s own Adventure Curve flared handlebar (the same high quality model as the recently launched Speciale Gravel) and a no-nonsense alloy stem and 27.2mm seatpost. The HoBootleg Geo is fitted with a Selle Royal off road-appropriate short-nose SRX saddle.
Victor Luis, Chairman of Cinelli, “We’ve fine-tuned the HoBootleg Geo over a three-year testing period with our adventure ambassadors. We wanted to build a bike which is ready to tackle your most extreme rides straight out of the box. It’s ready to match whatever you throw at it and we can’t wait to see which remote corners of the globe riders venture to”
Cinelli's new HoBootleg Geo is available in Desert Mud color, with framesets available from €1,300, full build from €2,500 / £2,199.
