BBB Launches Their First Electronic Pump - The BarBank

  • Compact device features universal valve compatibility
  • Quick USB-C charging allows a full charge in just 30 minutes
  • Integrated LED torch for roadside repairs in low light conditions

30th April 2026 - The Hague, Netherlands: BBB Cycling, the Dutch brand known for its innovative bicycle parts, components and accessories has today announced the launch of their first electronic pump, the BarBank.

Designed to replace the labour of manual pumping with digital precision, the BarBank is a compact, high-performance tool engineered to fit effortlessly into a jersey pocket or saddlebag. It combines a powerful motor with smart features such as an integrated LED torch to ensure riders spend less time on the shoulder and more time on the road.

Precision Meets Versatility

The BarBank allows riders to deliver exact pressure every time. Thanks to the universal pump head, the BarBank is suitable for Presta, Schrader, Dunlop and BBB’s CoreCap valves without the need for additional attachments. Its clear LCD interface provides real-time battery levels and pressure readings in both Bar and PSI, allowing for granular control via simple +/- buttons.

To streamline the pumping process, the BarBank includes three pre-programmed modes tailored to specific disciplines, each possible of delivering three full inflations on a single charge:

  • Road Mode: 700 x 28C tyre from 0 to 5 Bar / 72.5 PSI.
  • Gravel Mode: 700 x 40C tyre from 0 to 3 Bar / 43.5 PSI.
  • MTB Mode: 29 x 2.35 tyre from 0 to 2 Bar / 29 PSI.

Riders can also use the pre-set modes as a starting point, further adjusting it to their specific preferences, ensuring the pump automatically reaches their unique "sweet spot" for every inflation.

Built for the Real World

To assist in low-light conditions the BarBank features an integrated LED torch, allowing riders to locate valves and inspect tyres for damage in the dark, solving a common pain point for commuters and endurance cyclists.

Weighing only 160 grams and housed in a distinctive translucent casing. The compact device delivers a maximum pressure of 8.25 Bar / 120 PSI, making it a versatile tool for high-pressure road setups and high-volume off-road tyres alike. A flexible hose is also included for plastic valves found on TPU inner tubes and hard to reach valves.

Technical Specifications:

Max Pressure: 120 PSI / 8.25 Bar

Weight: 160 grams

Dimensions: 70 x 60 x 32 mm

Battery Capacity: 7.4 V / 600mAH
