Basso Bikes proudly unveils the latest addition to its esteemed lineup – the Venta R. Seamlessly blending modern design with cutting-edge technology, the Venta R is set to revolutionise the cycling landscape. Engineered for versatility and performance, this all-rounder road bike promises to inspire riders making premium and technological bikes accessible.

Key Features

Versatile Design: Crafted to excel in any situation, the Venta R boasts a sleek and aerodynamic design. Its aero-shaped tubes, carefully balanced to avoid extremes, ensure agile handling even in challenging conditions like high winds. Coupled with a cut-out for the rear wheel and lowered seat stays, this bike maximises aerodynamics, reducing drag and enhancing speed. Complemented by a straight-bladed fork, the Venta R delivers precise handling and effortless control, making every ride a thrilling experience.
Lightweight Construction at the right price-point: The Venta R features a frame constructed from Torayca T700 carbon fibres, ensuring a perfect blend of lightness, durability and value. The in-mold bearing housing with no additional inserts allows Venta R production to be very consistent and to benefit from very tight tolerance values.
Geometry: Venta R offers a balanced all-rounder geometry with a higher sloping value compared to other bikes in the Basso collection. This allows us to maximise seatpost flex and a lower standover height, especially on smaller sizes.
Integrated Technology: Equipped with the innovative 3B Clamp System Gen 2, the Venta R boasts a lightweight, invisible, and robust seat post clamp fixing solution. This system, reinforced through the vulcanisation of a steel plank, reduces vibrations and enhances comfort on uneven surfaces. Additionally, the Heart Carbon seatpost seamlessly integrates with the frame and seatpost clamp, offering optimal comfort and performance.
Cable management: Venta R features Microtech’s Integrated Cables Headset, the same used in all high-tier Basso bikes. The durability of the bearing is ensured by high-quality seals while the cable guide design allows for effortless steering and precise handling. The stem sits free of cables and can be changed with ease for the optimal bike fit.
Shimano 105 R7100 12-Speed Groupset: Experience effortless shifting with the Shimano 105 R7100 mechanical 12-speed groupset. Shifting becomes second nature with a wide gear range and enhanced ergonomics, allowing riders to focus solely on the road ahead. Venta R will come standard with an 11-34 cassette and 50-34 chainrings.
Microtech MCT wheels: Meticulously crafted to conquer diverse terrain effortlessly. Offering superior comfort and precise handling, even on rough surfaces, these wheels deliver unparalleled performance. Featuring a rim height of 27mm and an internal channel of 21mm, paired with crossed spoking lacing, Microtech MCT wheels provide exceptional strength and durability.

Additional Features: The Venta R comes complete with a range of accessories from the Basso eco-system, including a Diamante Stem Computer Mount for Garmin and Wahoo, and Knog Mid Cobber Rear Light + Basso Adapter (https://basso.news/3BRearLight), among others. With modern design aesthetics, Basso has worked also in allowing modern tire clearance up to 35, making Venta R capable of approaching everything from tarmac to light gravel.

The Venta R will be available for purchase in two striking colours – Magma Black and Pearl White, both glossy with iridescent decals. The frame will be available in 7 sizes, from 42 to 61 and in one spec: Shimano 105 R7100 12-speed with Microtech MCT wheels.
