Australian and British Cult Running Brands Collaborate On New Collection Of Caps

  • Queensland-based hat brand Fractel connects with London-based running apparel brand Acid Running

  • Products drop on 13/12 following a launch social run and party at Acid Running’s London HQ

13 December 2023, London: This festive season, two fast-emerging cult running brands from opposite sides of the globe collide, as Fractel and Acid Running collaborate to launch a limited edition range of running caps. An Australian running brand on a mission to produce the world’s best headwear, Fractel has joined forces with London-based running apparel brand Acid Running resulting in two new designs of Fractel’s popular M-Series Cap.

Understated in design, contrasting to the vibrant colour spectrum seen across much of Fractel’s range, the new looks lean on cues from Acid Running’s minimalist aesthetic featured in its range of run shorts and tops. The collaboration pairs two brands with a shared desire to facilitate adventure and discovery, letting you, the runner, choose your own journey.

The shared values continue across their approach towards sustainability and responsibility to the planet, providing the playground for our sport. Each sources fabrics from BlueSign certified suppliers, with Fractel utilising 100% recycled fabrics in its caps and Acid Running prioritising integrating recycled and natural fibres into all garments. British brand Acid adds unique touches of style with seed paper used in place of swing-tags which can be planted at home to grow wildflowers.

Acid Running co-founder Oliver Powe commented on the new collab, “Fractel x Acid Running may be a small step in terms of product range but the collaboration represents a much deeper connection between two like minded brands with shared passions and values.
