8th September 2026, Darlington - British cycling apparel and luggage brand Altura has introduced its new autumn winter 2026 clothing collection featuring a selection of seasonal products that deliver highly functional protection from the elements to enable all year-round riding.

At the core of the new collection are two technical all-weather, off-road focused jackets, building on proven garments with updates to deliver improved comfort and durability out in the elements.

Waterproof Jackets

The Esker Waterproof Jacket, £100, combines exceptional value for money and bad weather protection in a modern, versatile and technical style. Tough, durable, comfortable 10k/10k rated waterproof 3-layer fabric with a stacked feature list that includes an integrated ventilation system and adjustable hood. This revamped, best-in-class jacket is set to become a trail centre favourite around the UK.

Another new addition to the range is the improved Ridge Waterproof Jacket, £160, designed for big days out on the hills with the robust 3-layer fabric providing excellent waterproof and breathability - 20k/20k rated - and a comfortable, soft feel. The unique front dual zip mesh gaiter venting system provides easily controlled airflow for thermoregulation, paired with assisted pit zips.

Both the new Esker and Ridge Waterproof Jackets each come in men’s and women’s specific sizing to ensure an optimised fit for the rider.

Additional features include large sized front pockets perfect for ride essentials and an easily adjusted hood ideal for use with or without a helmet, providing multi-activity functionality.

For something in between, Altura has introduced a redesigned Ridge Lite Waterproof Jacket, £120, featuring 15k/15k waterproof and breathability rated 3-layer fabrics in a lightweight yet durable design. A clever chest stash pocket allows you to pack away the jacket mid-ride when the weather permits.

All-Weather Trousers

The range isn’t limited to just jackets, with the introduction of two new legwear styles providing great full-length autumn/winter riding options. The Ridge Spray Trousers, £100, feature an effective unisex fit for a wide range of riders with a slim lower leg, roomy upper thigh and plenty of waist adjustment. Full waterproofing protection sits across the rear, where needed most, while the higher stretch front panels offer effective water repellence without inhibiting pedalling comfort. Tested and approved by multiple world champion mountain biker Tracy Moseley, the Ridge Spray Trousers come in a slim cut unisex fit to suit a range of riders.

Following the success of the Esker Cargo Shorts, the new zip off trouser version provides an all-year round option. The 2-in-1 versatility is ideal for bike packing overnighters, varied weather conditions, or for those who struggle to decide whether to take a pair of trousers or shorts! The stretch fabric provides comfortable, unrestricted pedalling comfort while the super durable seat panel ensures a long-life span.

Airstream Long Sleeve Jersey

For the warmer winter days, the new Airstream Long Sleeve Jersey, £60, shares a classic, contemporary look and the exceptional value of its popular summer counterpart, launched earlier this year. A mid-weight fabric works well in a wide range of conditions, adding layers under and/or over when the temperature drops. With a full zip and rear pockets, it will appeal to riders looking for the “traditional” cycling jersey features in a range of colour options.
